Bite: Level, Full Dentition - a level bite is acceptable within the breed standard - but I prefer a scissor bite. I will consider breeing him to a female that has a full history of scissor bites only!
Temperament: Excellent. Very social and calm in all situations.
Overall Critique: Very masculine head, correct head planes, good ear set and size. Deep pigmentation to the coat, heavy old coat style. Square muscular body, straight leg set in both front and rear. Tight cat feet, excellent shoulder angulation and lay back, excellent croup set and tail carriage. Good movement, which I hope will improve as he ages. Very balanced dog. One of Jig's hocks is not as tight as I would like - we are waitning to see if this improves with age.This is one of the reasons he has not been out on the show circuit with us. I will spend some time this coming year showing him. Jig is an excellent jumper and easily clears a 6' run gate.
Recommendation for Breeding: Good.
